After the second round I measured this and decided to change my plan.
I want this to be a mini quilt. If I make 2" rounds for rounds 3-6, it will be bigger than I planned.
Now the plan is to make the last four rounds one side each.
I may use my favorite fabric in the corners.
Round #3 prompt was 'triangle'.
I made easy half square triangles but set them into mock flying geese.
This is so much fun.
Can't wait for the next round.
Happy Sewing!
That's a great way to make your round robin come out smaller! It's always fun to see these projects progress through the rounds.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm using a set of fat quarters, so the colors are very similar.
DeleteSorry, that reply was not what I first wrote.
Deletelooking good! I like your palette.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteNice triangle border, and I completely get not wanting the quilt to be too large. (I was going to go small this year, but that obviously changed.) The colors of your fabrics are just so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteI'm a little worried about what the next 3 rounds will be. Will I be able to make them the size I need?
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics you are using! Getting creative so it doesn't get to big is a lot of fun, can't wait to see what you do next!
