On the work table this week

My wool felt sampler is finished.
I wrote about that in another post.
I'm going to share it at Uncommon Threads Quilt Guild at the end of the month.

I have cut five panels and started stitching this fabric into curtains for our downstairs living area.
The sooner they are finished the sooner I can get back to sewing quilty things.

As I straightened up my thread and looked at future projects I kept thinking about project bags.
It only takes 3 fat quarters to make an 11" X 18" project bag.
I have lots of zippers and more than a yard of mesh.
So.... I made a new project bag.

The baby elephant fabric was calling to me.
I thought it was a fat quarter but instead it was WOF quarter yard.
No problem - worked around that.

Pink, gray, and yellow.
This time I rounded the corners.
The binding is bias cut and sewed up fantastic.

My TV watching handwork is hand quilting My Small World.
No plan. Just free form quilting.
Maybe it will be finished by Show n Tell at quilt guild, too.

Have a good week!
