Stay at Home Round Robin Finished

Here are the last steps in finishing my 2026 SAHRR quilt.
After remaking the hourglass and spinning wheel blocks I decided on this layout.

I cut the white corner triangles and sewed the diagonal rows together.

Next I added a narrow border of the floral to help tie all the blocks together.

The binding is a teal check from my stash.

The pink leaf print I used for the backing was also in my stash.

I like to flip the front over so both the front and back are in the photo.

The back has a label on one corner.
The quilt is about 37 inches square.

TaDa!
Now it is hanging in our entry hall.
Perfect for a touch of spring color.

Thanks, ladies, for the fun quilting adventure.

Happy Sewing!

  5. (I think we have similar railing on our staircases!) I have watched you carefully do, and re-do, particular blocks in this quilt, and have to say all your work was worth it: it's a lovely, bright quilt and will be fun to see every time you head upstairs (or downstairs). Congratulations on a fine finish for SAHRR 2026!
