Round 1 is the hour glass block.
I made two from solid orange and blue.
Since I used solids for my center block,
I'm going to try to use solids for all the blocks.
Thanks for the chart with all the possible sizes Brenda @ Songbird Designs.
Linking up to the SAHRR party.
See you next week.

That looks good.

ReplyDeleteLooks good! I like the bold orange and blue!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI like the bright solids you have chosen so far! See you next week!
ReplyDeleteI love a solids quilt, and you are off to a great start with that cool Friendship Star center, along with the same-sized hourglass blocks. It is starting to "read" as a sampler block quilt, which will be very fun. And like Wendy, love the contrasting blue and orange: a successful Round One!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the solids. It makes the designs really stand out!
ReplyDeleteMy hourglass blocks are in the same colors: orange and blue too, although mine are batik fabric and are not solid. I also made just 2 blocks. Great minds think alike as they say!
ReplyDeleteVery nice :)
ReplyDeleteI love your bold solids! My mom was a lifelong Mets fan; orange and blue together always makes me think of her.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Love your use of solids! xx
