I'm loving this SAHRR.
I chose a simple 12" block from those suggested by Kathleen.
I looked on quilterscache.com for a block that started with one of my initials
but in the end decided I liked the simple King's Crown block.
In this block there is space for a large piece of my focus fabric.
If you look closely you can see crowns on the magenta fabric.
Above are my two blocks.
I haven't decided how to set the blocks and I may make another of today's block.
In other sewing, I made a heart block for a project my quilt guild is making.
Now I have time to start my March piano runner.
Happy Sewing!
I love your choice and it looks fabulous with your center block!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathleen.
DeleteFun blocks! Fun colors!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you are including your focus fabric in these blocks and your King's Crown looks great, especially with all the crowns on your fabric. I must visit this quilters cache. Thank you for the link :)
ReplyDeleteYour kitty cat centers are so cute! I would say that cats do wear the King's Crown!
ReplyDeleteAll the cats I've known thought they were royalty. ;-)
DeleteWell done! I love how you have cut each block to make a scene.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric with little crowns, it suits so well with your block!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty block, and it looks nice with the other block!
ReplyDeleteNice block, and I love your featured fabric! Cats in Paris, how perfect!
