Working on unfinished quilts

This year I am trying to finish some of the quilt tops I have in a drawer in my sewing room. First finished was a t-shirt quilt.

It was completed on New Year's Eve, so I'm counting it as this year. The t-shirts are a mix of school, church, and children's theater shirts.

Glad to be done with this one. More finishes later.

Blue and green sampler

I am starting this blog today to share more sewing projects. When I was small I played with scraps of fabric while my mother sewed. I have been sewing forever but quilting is a relatively new adventure for me.

This is one of my favorite quilts. I made it in a sampler class. I especially liked the small, blue flower print. Son and daughter-in-law have it now. I get to visit it when I go to their house.
